My Approach

"The human soul doesn`t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed - to be seen, heard and companioned exactly as it is"

Parker  Palmer

My approach to therapy is firmly rooted in social justice;  I use a trauma informed, resiliency focused, feminist framework.  As a white, cisgender, queer woman, I actively examine my own relationship to power and privilege, and remain committed to my growth and learning in the area of undoing institutionalized oppression.

I empower growth through the nurturance of compassion, radical self love, and acceptance. I foundationally believe we all have inherent wisdom and the capacity to heal.

My best hope for therapy is to create an authentic space where all of your identities feel fully seen, validated, and celebrated, just as you are; where you can embody your intrinsic worth and value; and where you can cultivate and reclaim your sense of agency.
